Dungeonborne is filled with a variety of interesting and unique classes, all based on classic fantasy elements. We’ll break down everything we know about each class, with this post focusing on Dungeonborne’s Cryomancer class. Let’s dive right in.
Dungeonborne Cryomancer Overview
The Cryomancer is one of the newest Dungeonborne classes, adding unique skills and elements to the game. As you might imagine by the name, it’s focused around ice and freezing things and plays very much like a frost mage. It’s currently only available as the Undead race.
Cryomancer Pros & Cons
- Strong AoE and crowd control
- High survivability
- High sustainability
- Low burst damage
- Requires sustained casting
Cryomancer Skills
The Cryomancer currently has two skills: Ice Storm and Ice Barrier.
- Ice Storm summons a mobile and expanding Ice Storm that slowly moves to a location and casts a Blizzard, which deals a small amount of cold damage and gradually freezes enemies in range (requires a staff).
- Ice Barrier encases the Cryomancer in an icy barrier, making them immune to damage and regenerating life over time. It can be deactivated at any time.
Dungeonborne Cryomancer Passives
Cryomancer has access to five passive skills, which are unlocked after reaching certain attribute thresholds, these passives are Frostbite, Winter’s Wrath, Shattering Ice, Soul Freeze, and Permafrost.
- Frostbite empowers Ice Storm, giving the initial phase damage, and lowering enemy movement speed.
- Winter’s Wrath increases Ice Storm’s AoE range.
- Shattering Ice empowers Ice Barrier, causing it to shatter when lifted, freezing nearby enemies.
- Soul Freeze gives the Cryomancer a small amount of energy when Ice Storm freezes an enemy.
- Permafrost increases freeze duration by 2 seconds.
That’s all for the Dungeonborne Cryomancer class. Keep in mind that as the game is in early development, just about everything is subject to change. We’ll keep this page updated as changes are revealed.
