Dungeonborne death knight class

While most classes in Dungeonborne fit the traditional fantasy elements, some are a bit more unique. One of these is the Death Knight, which is a very interesting class focused on melee combat empowered by dark magic.

Dungeonborne Death Knight Overview

The Dungeonborne Death Knight class is very unique. It excels in close range combat and focuses on using dark magic alongside powerful melee weapons. It’s very different from the usual fantasy classes and is only playable as the undead race.

Death Knight Pros & Cons

  • Strong initiation tools
  • Powerful AoE damage
  • Excels in melee combat
  • Heavily reliant on its resource
  • Low sustainability

Dungeonborne Death Knight Class Skills

The Death Knight currently has access to two skills: Soul Shroud and Grasp of the Grave.

  • Soul Shroud summons a ring of unholy power around the Death Knight, dealing shadow damage to all nearby enemies.
  • Grasp of the Grave fires a spectral chain at a target, pulling them toward the Death Knight and dealing a small amount of damage.

Death Knight Passives

Dungeonborne‘s Death Knight currently has five passive skills, which can be unlocked after attaining a certain amount of stats. These are: Soul Reaper, Life Steal, Grim Harvest, Endless Binding, and Soul Explosion.

  • Soul Reaper resets the cooldown of Grasp of the Grave on kill.
  • Life Steal restores life when absorbing soul essence.
  • Grim Harvest allows Grasp of the Grave to restore a small amount of resource if it hits an enemy.
  • Endless Binding reduces the cooldown of Grasp of the Grave if it hits an ally.
  • Soul Explosion allows Soul Shroud to deal extra damage at the end of its effect. If over 50 Soul Energy was spent during Soul Shroud, the damage is increased.

That wraps up our Dungeonborne Death Knight class overview. As always, we’ll keep this page updated should the class receive any changes during development.
