Dungeonborne priest class

There are few fantasy classes as iconic as the Priest. Just about every fantasy game has a Priest in some form, generally acting as a healer or support, wielding holy light. It’s much the same for the Dungeonborne Priest class, let’s check it out.

Dungeonborne Priest Overview

The Priest is very much a supporting class in Dungeonborne. It focuses on healing and buffing allies, rather than doing damage, and is perfect for anyone looking to be the helpful one in the friend group (no we don’t need to all go Swordmaster again!).

Priest Pros & Cons

  • Heals allies
  • Buffs allies
  • Strong against undead
  • Low damage output
  • Weak in prolonged melee combat

Dungeonborne Priest Skills

The Dungeonborne Priest class currently has access to two skills, Divine Guidance and Divine Protection.

  • Divine Guidance heals allies for 60 health or deals damage to target undead enemy. If channeled, the effect is increased.
  • Divine Protection releases a sphere of light, granting a 120 point shield to your target. If channeled, the effect is increased.

Priest Passives

Priest has access to five passive skills, which can be unlocked by attaining a certain number of stats. These are: Recompense, Benediction, Conviction, Cleansing Rites, Resurrection.

  • Recompense empowers your melee attacks, reducing the Mana cost of your next skill by 5% per successful hit. Stacks up to 5 times.
  • Benediction allows Divine Guidance to target any enemy.
  • Conviction allows the Priest to recover 0.5 mana per second at full life.
  • Cleansing Rites allows Divine Guidance to dispel a debuff from an ally.
  • Resurrection revives a fallen ally. Can only be used once per adventure.

As you can see, the Priest is very much a support class. It has very little in the way of offense, instead focusing on buffing and healing. Just to note – Dungeonborne is constantly receiving updates, so the class may see some changes. We’ll update this page if it does.
